Q: What’s Christmas at the Movies? 

A: In the Bible, Jesus used relatable stories to share meaningful messages. This Christmas, we’re bringing that same approach to our new series, Christmas at the Movies! Get ready to experience timeless truths from scripture like never before, as we dive into God’s Word and explore the wisdom it holds through the lens of some of your favorite holiday films. Join us for a season filled with joy, inspiration, and unforgettable illustrations that make the message of Christmas come alive! Don’t miss out on this unique journey as we discover God’s love and purpose in each classic story.

Q: Can you tell us what the movies will be? 

A: You bet! Here are some more details for each week:

  • 12/15 – The Grinch: A special Central Kids Production and Grinch Punch!

  • 12/22 – Home Alone: Ugly Sweater Sunday, Peppermint Cotton Candy, Wear Your Ugly Sweater and enjoy a Christmas Choir!

  • 12/24 – A Christmas Story: This special Christmas Eve Family Candlelit Service will be at 3 p.m. & 5 p.m. 

Q: Will there be popcorn? 

A: YES! 🍿

  • What’s a movie without popcorn?! We’ll also have delicious hot chocolate and other holiday favorite drinks each week! 

Q: What’s in it for the kids & teens? 

A: Great question! 

  • Youth: Central Youth service is at 9 a.m. and the students will be following along with our Christmas at the Movies series but with special teaching curated for their age group.

  • Kids: Central Kids will have their own themed teaching about the true meaning of Christmas and holiday surprises in their class each week. Then, they’ll be able to enjoy all the activities on the patio after each service. 

Q: What about Church Online? 

A: Live only! 

  • For our online family, the copyright restrictions mean Christmas at the Movies won’t be archived. However, you can still join us LIVE at 9 a.m. to experience each powerful moment.
